  • I am a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, National Taxpayers Association Australia (NTAA), Townsville Chamber of Commerce and past member of Townsville Sunrise Rotary Club as well as one of the founding members of the Royal Australian Naval Cadets in Townsville. I have served in the Royal Australian Navy as a clearance diver during the Malay/Indonesia conflict and as a returned veteran I understand the problems our veterans experience on return from active service. Having been self-employed for 40 years with dealing matters relating to business management, finance and taxation I have gained valuable experience which will be beneficial to the seat of Townsville and Queensland in general. I look forward to the day when I can provide strong representation for the seat of Townsville and the State of Queensland.

More About Allan Evans

Pauline Hanson's One Nation is committed to giving a voice to the concerns confronting the Townsville community.   Pauline Hanson's One Nation  is determined to address the concerns  expressed by the residents.

Pauline Hanson’s One Nation with the support of the Commonwealth Government proposes to provide additional capacity to the Burdekin catchment through raising the Burdekin Dam wall as per Stage 2, that is, 14 metres.   Townsville and surrounding rural areas will be guaranteed a secure water supply for 50 to 100 years.  A hydro power generator will be included with the stage II development, to provide electricity required for the pumping of water to Townsville, the surplus power would then be fed into the grid.

One Nation will seek to reduce power costs to the consumer by approximately 20%.   This will be achieved by the newly elected government not demanding nor withdrawing any dividend from the power companies to consolidated revenue.

One Nation will supplement any loss in general revenue by revising the State’s procurement policy.   One Nation will end the preferred providers’ system and open the scheme to all businesses wanting to deal with the government.   Competition is what drives prices down and a saving of 20% equates to billions of dollars.
